The Karnataka State Contractors’ Association has given a warning to Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai. The association’s president, D Kempanna, said, “We’ve given an ultimatum to CM that if within 15 days we’re not called to discuss the matter to reduce corruption, we’ll announce the names of involved MLAs & ministers.”

The State Contractors’ Association has further alleged that corruption is present in many departments. “Health is the most corrupt department. Other departments include PWD, Irrigation, Panchayat Raj, BBMP,” said the Contractors’ Association president D Kempanna.

The contractors’ association has also decided to stop work for a month, and the date when this will begin is yet to be decided, said State Contractors’ Association president, D Kempanna.

A big rally is scheduled to be held on May 25 in Bengaluru.
