As Covid restrictions relax I’m seeing more and more holiday shaves on social media. The age old “can I take a razor in carry on” question. On that, really? Why would you need a razor with you? On the flip side, I do… but no blades, then buy blades wherever I’m going. I travel light, very light, always have and going on holiday it to go somewhere new and experience a different life. I know traditionally people would take everything on holiday to create a home away from home… buy a caravan!

So this set up shows how you can take minimal equipment and have a great shave! Why not buy local shave soaps and splashes? Why not buy local blades? Why take everything you need with you and while you’re at it take your own tea bags, coffee, milk, bacon and pot noodles?

Yes, I have been with people that take everyone, go away somewhere and complain they can’t get a fry up. Do you eat a fry up every day at home? What do you normally eat? Nothing? Yes! I have met many people that don’t eat breakfast at home and make a huge deal about it while they are away from home.

Anyway, a gorgeous BBS shave, stunning two passes and now I’m wondering why I have all this kit…
